Institutional History
A Tradition of Quality Education
Located in the heart of Kampala, Kololo Senior Secondary School is one of Uganda’s leading government-aided secondary schools. Established to provide accessible, high-quality education, the school serves a diverse student body of nearly 6,000 learners across Ordinary Level (O-Level) and Advanced Level (A-Level).
Over the decades, Kololo S.S. has built a proud reputation for combining academic rigor with moral integrity, creative talent development, and technical skill acquisition.
In 2011, the school was designated as the National ICT Teacher Training Centre. Additionally, Kololo S.S. serves as a regional hub for the SESEMAT program, actively driving secondary science and mathematics teacher development nationwide.
